PCL (polycaprolactone)
PCL (polycaprolactone) is a biodegradable thermoplastic biomaterial that used in medical and tissue engineering applications such as bioprinting. PCL has melting point of 65°c and has good mechanical properties therefore is useful for regenerate bone and cartilage tissue. this can be bioprinted in hybrid scaffold with other biomaterial such as alginate or gelatin methacrylate.
